Magenesium Sulphate |
MgSO4 |
A source of trace mineral magnesium supplement added feedstuffs. |
Magnesium Sulphate may be anhydrous, or conatins one or seven molecule water of hydration. Heptahydrate magnesium occurs as ordorless crystals with bitter taste. It has got a relative density as 1.68. It is freely soluble in water, sapringly soluble in ethanol and glycerol. It loses one molecule water of hydration in dry air at normal room temperature, loses one molecule water of hydration at 150¡É, and loses all one molecule water of hydration at 200¡É. Monohydrate magnesium sulphate and anhydrous magnesium occurs as white crystals, or crsystalline powder. |
