Wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based and solvent-free coatings to improve pigment wetting, reduce the time required for the grinding process and stabilize the pigment dispersion.
Deflocculation of the pigments stabilizes hue and color strength and prevents flooding/floating.
The additive strongly reduces viscosity and improves gloss and levelling of the coatings.
Disperbyk-130 was developed to stabilize oxide pigments and carbon blacks and has an especially strong affinity to acidic groups in the pigment surface. Preferred binders are acrylic and alkyd/melamine-systems |
