ELFTEX 460 is an all purpose regular color pigment black with high tinting strength and good dispersibility.
* Printing Inks: ELFTEX 460 is a medium structure pigment black suitable for web offset cold set printing inks and a broad field of liquid ink applications. Medium intensity coupled with good dispersibility is provided by this pigment.
* Other Applications: This product is used also in Thermal Insulation applications, such as refractory, and in General Dispersions.
The dispersibility of ELFTEX 460 pigment black depends on the equipment used and the formulation. It is more difficult to disperse compared to products with higher structure in the regular color range.
ELFTEX 460 is a pelleted pigment black with a typical bulk density of 24 lbs/ft3. It is also available in an easier to disperse powdered form as ELFTEX 465. |
