Xylo-oligosaccharide
Xylo-oligosaccharide is a functional oligosaccharide that is composed of 2-7 xylose molecules through Ґв-1, 4-glycosidic linkages.

Proliferating bifidobacterium with high-selectivity. XOS is the best oligosaccharide for proliferating bifidobacterium. It also has high selectivity in proliferating bifidobacterium. The other oligosaccharides can accelerate the growth of bifidbacterium, Escherichia coli and bacillus. But XOS will only affect the growth of bifidobacterium.

The daily effective dose of xylo-oligosaccharide is only 0.7 - 1.4g, which is far less than that of other oligosaccharides.
