CYANOX 1790 is a high performance primary hindered phenolic stabilizer which is effective at reduced loadings. Typically CYANOX 1790 antioxidant can be formulated at concentrations 50 to 75% below conventional phenolic antioxidant use levels. CYANOX 1790 is outstanding as a processing antioxidant and it synergizes very well with secondary antioxidants such as thiodipropionates and phosphites for long term heat stabilizing effectiveness. CYANOX 1790 antioxidant's resistance to extraction make it especially useful in polyolefin pipe, film, and household appliance markets. Its outstanding gas fade resistance and previously mentioned properties make it effective in olefin and urethane fibers. CYANOX 1790 antioxidant also exhibits excellent utility in styrenics and polyesters. |
