| 1¢¦3 phr(generally 1 phr)of ZD-3 is recommended to be added along with the raw rubber. The peptizing effect of ZD-3 would be inhibited by incorporating the other ingredients, such as sulfur, anti-oxidant, carbon black and so on. |

| POST ZD-3 is a peptizer based on activated fatty acid zinc soap and very compatible to BR and SR. the Mooney viscosity of raw rubber can be rapidly decreased at the working temperature of open mill or internal mixer with the addition of ZD-3 to significantly reduce the masticating tine and the energy consumption, increase the masticating efficiency and the equipment output. ZD-3 possesses good physical plasticating effect to increase the flowability of rubber compound and accelerate the blending of polymer blend. It can also activate the vulcanization of rubber compound. The modulus of vulcanizate is increased, the heat build-up is significantly reduced and SBR is prevented from cyclization by adding ZD-3.ZD-3 is applicable to NR, IR, BR,SBR, NBR and their blemds. |
