Cyclodextrins (CD) are crystalline, water soluble, cyclic, non-reducing, oligosaccharides built up from six, seven, or eight glucopyranose units.Three naturally occurring CDs are alpha cyclodextrin, beta cyclodextrin, and gamma cyclodextrin. Among them , beta cyclodextrin is mostly common used.
