a highly effective light stabilizer, it can effectively absorb UV light in the range of 270-340 nm with almost no absorption of visible light. Mostly used in PVC, PS, unsaturated polyester (UPE), polycarbonate, polymethyl methacrylate, polyethylene, ABS resin, epoxy resin and cellulose plastics, esp. in clear and light colored products. The amount to use in thin products is usually 0.1-0.5 parts, in thick products 0.05-0.2 parts. FDA of US approved for plastic products for food wrapping.
