Antimony Potassium Tartrate
Chemical Name : Tartar emetic
Structural Formula :
Molecular formula : C8H 4K2O12Sb2 . 3H2O
Molecular weight : 667.87
Character : Colorless transparent crystal or white crystal powder, lose luster decomposed in air, with light-sweet and metal taste. When 100¡ÆC, lose crystal water, decompose above 235 ¡ÆC. Specific gravity 2.607. Not soluable in alcohol and soluable in water or glycerin. Its water solution appears acidity.
Uses : As analytical reagent (detemining Pb, Na, Ge, etc), mordant for fabric and leather, fixing agent for basic dyes and nylon acid dyes
also used for making pesticide and snail fever-resistant drugs.
Packing : 25kg complex bags or 25kg iron snail drum, lined with double-layerred kraft paper bags and film bag.
