Characters: Red rice red color is a red powder or liquid, which easily dissolves in alcohol and water, but not in acetone and fat solvent. The pigment?s resistance to light and heat is good, but not to oxidisation. Na、K、Ca、Ba、Zn、Cu and micro Fe do not affect the color, but become rose to Sn, depigment and deposition to Pb and much Fe2+. The pigment turns a weak brown color in PH 7?12, and turns yellow if heated over a long period of time. The coloris applicable in the coloring of drinks, ice cream, candy, and jelly.
