Celogen OT is a nonstaining, nondiscoloring and odorless nitrogen foaming agent for sponge rubber and expanded plastics. Decomposes slowly at 130'C (266'F) most effective gas evolution at 150-160'C (302-320'F). Effective in natural, SBR, Neoprene, nitrile (e.g. Paracril) and butyl rubbers as well as polyvinyl chloride. CELOGEN OT is a low-temperature sulfonylhydrazide used in low process temperature plastics such as LDPE, EVA, and soft vinyl compounds. Its white color makes it a good fit for low-temperature applications where whiteness is important. Celogen OT generates a polymeric, non-polar residue that does not interfere with electrical properties in foamed wire insulation applications. It has three FDA sanctions for use in food contact applications. |
