A comparative study undertaken by a rubber specialized laboratory between the active zinc oxide Zinrex100-R a zinc oxide AKTIV and a French process standard grade in an EPDM rubber compound showed that:Zinrex100- R PHR in the rubber compound can be reduced from 6 to 2 PHR without loss of mechanical properties of the vulcanised product. Compounds with 2 PHR of Zinrex 100R have similar properties than compounds with 6 PHR of ZnO French process. The vulcanised compounds tear strength showed to be higher in the vulcanised product using the ZINREX100-R than a standard AKTIV zinc oxide grade * *The complete study is available at your request. |
