Neofix DDER-243 |
|
NEOFIX DDER-243 is a cationic fixing agent used to improve the wet fastness properties of reactive-dyed cellulose which has not been efficiently washed-off after dyeing. The amount of NEOFIX DDER-243 to be used will very depending upon the depth of shade and the efficiency of the washing off process after dyeing, but will in general be as follows.
Pale shades X / 20% NEOFIX DDER-243 Medium shades X / 15% NEOFIX DDER-243 Heavy shades X / 10% NEOFIX DDER-243 Where X is the percentage of dyestuff applied neofix DDER-243 is applied to the fabric by the conventional method of exhausting for 20 minutes at 40¡É pH 5.0 Neofix DDER-243 is applied after the cold rinse, after "soaping" The fabric should be subjected to a further cold rinse before the softener is applied as experience has shown that carrying out the softening in the exhausted fixation bath can result in less efficient exhaustion of the softener On no account should the fabric be softened before fixation has taken place. |

Ionic nature : Cationic Constitution : Aqueous solution of a low molecular weight resin Appearance : Light yellow liquid Solubility : Easily soluble in cold water Compatibility : Competable with all ionic products Characteristics : Confers excellent wet fastness to reactive dyeings of cellulosic fibres from which the unfixed dye has been incompletely removed due to inadequate washing-off. |
