SODIUM METABILSULFITE is a product extensively use in the industry of textile, synthesis in the production of sulphonates, sulphonates oils, resins and acrylic fibers, tannins, vitamins K, in the purification of aldehydes, ketones, pesticides and herbicides.
- Use in food industry as additive E233 (preservative for fruits, vegetables, jams and fishes)
- Use in textile and pulp and paper industry as bleaching agent, and for removing of excess of chlorine and peroxides.
- Use in mining industry as floating agent.
- Use in starch production as bacteriostatic.
- Use in silage treatment as antifermentative.
- Use in tanneries as auxiliary, accelerate in skin soaking, decalcification and bleaching process. |
