| Hydrokote AP-5 is prepared from selected vegetable oils that are hydrogenated, blended, refined and deodorized. Hydrokote AP-5 is primarily used as replacement for cocoa butter in pharmaceutical and cosmetic applications where its texture, narrow melting range and crystallization characteristics are essential. The bland character, low irritation, excellent stability and good mold release properties of Hydrokote AP-5 make it an ideal ingredient for application in suppositories, lipsticks and glosses, pomades, solid fragrances, antiperspirant sticks, color cosmetics (eyebrow pencils, lip liners) and emollient creams and lotions. |
