Captex 355EP (also known as medium-chain triglycerides or, MCT¡¯s) is manufactured by the esterification of fractionated coconut oil fatty acids (mainly, caprylic and capric) and glycerin. Captex 355EP is prepared from foodgrade, vegetable oil raw materials. It is fully refined and deodorized and is miscible with most organic solvents including 95% ethanol. |
