Lauryl alcohol 10 EO |

|
The molecule of each Unitol L product is lypophilic as a result of the carbonic chain of the starting alcohol, and hydrophilic as a result of the ethylene oxide chain. With the increase in the number of ethylene oxide adducts, the hydrophilic character of the molecule also increases (higher HLB), thus altering its solubility in water, foaming level, detergent power and wetting power, allowing for these products to be used as emulsifiers, detergents, solubilizers, essence fixers and synthesis intermediates in the obtainment of sulfated surfactants. The Unitol L line has excellent surface tension reducing power besides good detergent and wetting power. The products do not precipitate with water hardness ions and are compatible with anionic, cationic and nonionic surfactants. |
