Glycol ethers are produced from the reaction between an alcohol or phenol and ethylene oxide.
Butylglycol is excellent solvents for a large variety of synthetic resins, and can be used in paint and varnish formulations.
It can also be used to increase whitening resistance and as agents to improve brightness and viscosity. |
