WEIBULL BLACK is the highest tannin content Mimosa extract, for general usage and uniform quality. WEIBULL BLACK provides to the leathers an intense filling effect due to its higher tannin concentration. Its darker colour allows the optimisation of the dyestuff usage in the retanning process. It is indicated to the vegetable tanning process and in the chrome leather retanning.
* Applications:
WEIBULL BLACK may be used alone or blended with other vegetable extracts, synthetics, and / or auxiliary agents and especially with Macrospec C. We recommend the following usage:
Based on limed weight:
-25 to 30 % of WEIBULL BLACK for vegetable leather tanning
-40 to 45 % of WEIBULL BLACK for sole leather tanning
-We recommend using 1 to 5% of Macrospec C as dispersing agent during the WEIBULL BLACK usage.
Based on shaved weight:
-5 to 15 % of WEIBULL BLACK for chrome leather retanning
-We recommend using 1 to 5% of Macrospec C as dispersing agent during the WEIBULL BLACK usage. |
