| Permalease SMC |

Permalease SMC is a semi-permanent release coating specially formulated to seal new and reconditioned tooling surfaces. The mold conditioner cures in minutes after wiping on the mold providing a non-porous base for semi-permanent release coatings. The PERMALEASE SMC is effective at molding temperatures in excess of 850¡ÆF (454'C) without degradation.
* Applications:
1. Mold temperature and work area should be at or above 68'F (20'C) for best application of PERMALEASE SMC. The mold surface should be thoroughly cleaned with MANN MC Mold cleaner prior to applying PERMALEASE SMC. This will eliminate any oils, grease, wax, and any other release agents that may interfere with PERMALEASE SMC.
2. Pour PERMALEASE SMC on a clean lint-free cotton cloth and wipe the mold surface with a circular sweeping motion giving complete even coverage of no more than a few square feet per application.
3. Wait a few seconds and while the film is still wet, wipe with a clean dry lint-free cotton cloth until it is dry and clean.
4. Do the same as above until entire mold surface is covered.
5. Apply at least two to three coats of PERMALEASE SMC allowing approximately ten to fifteen minutes of dry time in between coatings.
6. Allow the final coat of Permalease SMC to cure 24 hours or heat molds at 150'F/ 65'C for one hour to accelerate the cure. |
