| Permalease 2264 |

Permalease 2264 is an advanced technology release coating that provides multiple releases for epoxy composites, urethane elastomers and foams. A single application of PERMALEASE 2264 releases both TDI and MDI elastomers and foams, and epoxy composites over several demoldings without transfer of the release coating. Parts molded on this coating can be painted or bonded without special cleaning steps or processing. Laboratory tests of PERMALEASE 2264 release coating have indicated that it is equally effective on polyether and polyester MDI'S and TDI urethane prepolymers, and epoxy resins. A single application of PERMALEASE 2264 has produced over 100 demoldings of cast elastomers made with MDI prepolymers.

* Applications:
1. Clean molds by blasting with shot or shells to abrade the surface and remove all traces of prior release agents or machining oils.
2. Shake or mix contents thoroughly before using.
3. Apply 3 light even coats of Permalease 2264 to the mold surface.
4. Heat mold to minimum 275-300¡ÆF and cure for 30 minutes.
5. Mold may be recoated at any time using procedure in steps 3-5.
6. Begin molding. |
