Silicone Fluid F-756 |
|
Silicone Fluid F-756 is an alkylene diaminofunctional dimethylpolysiloxane fluid. The functional group is present as a diamine and there is, on the average, one such group per molecule. F-756 is designed to impart detergent and corrosion resistance properties to automobile polishes. F-756 is insoluble in water, but it can be readily incorporated into emulsion formulations. F-756 may be employed by itself, with Silicone Fluids SWS-101 or F-770 aminofunctional fluid. The optimum amount employed is best determined in the particular polish formulation being considered. A suggested starting point would be six parts of F-770 and one part F-756. This formulation is listed for the purpose of illustration only. The formulator/user should investigate this formulation to determine its suitability in its intended use. |
