RTV-2 Silicone Rubber
ELASTOSIL M4541 RTV-2 Silicone Rubber is a pourable, condensation-curing, two-component, highstrength silicone mold-making compound that vulcanizes at room temperature.
- Very good flow and self-deaeration
- Medium Shore A hardness (ca. 30)
- High elongation and elasticity
- Excellent tear strength
- Outstanding resistance to polyester and polyurethane resins for extremely long service life of
the molds
Applications : High-performance, silicone mold-making compound which is particularly suitable for reproducing models with extensive undercuts in polyester or polyurethane resins.
M4541 is part of a range of new high-strength condensation-curing, mold-making materials. In
addition to the excellent compatibility of condensation products with most types of model materials, specific catalysts are offered that result in soft high-strength molds and are ideal for processing all common reproduction materials. |
