Uniclear 2000 is high purity di-para-methylbenzylidenesorbitol(MDBS).
It is an excellent nucleating agent for polyolefins and mainly polypropylene.
In properly formulated and processed PP, Uniclear 2000 provides notable clarity improvements, enhances physical properties, increases resin throughout, and boosts PP productivity.
The addition of Uniclear 2000 at a level of 0.2~0.3 wt % is recommended for PP homopolymers and random copolymers.
MDBS is easily dispersed in PP using conventional dry-blending or master-batch methods. |
