External Release Agent for use in unsaturated polyester resins.
Unlike release agents based on waxes and solutions of PVA, Release Agent NL-30 is not applied to the surface of the mould but incorporated into the gelcoat resin.
The addition of Release Agent NL-30 to a gelcoat will provide for a smooth demoulding of the product whilst normally, when used in the prescribled dosages, no effect on gel or cure times are noticed.
Release Agent NL-30 should be mixed thoroughly with the gelcoat resin, preferably before the organic peroxide is added to the resin. |
