Accelerator NL-23 is a mixture of N'N-dimethylaniline and cobalt(ll)2-ethylhexanoate.
With the curing system ketone peroxide plus Accelerator NL-23 a much faster speed of cure will be achieved than with a curing system based on a ketone peroxide plus cobalt accelerator, at room and elevated temperatures.
This also counts for the curing system perester/NL-23 in comparison with perester plus cobalt at elevated temperature.
Accelerator NL-23 is particularly suitable in those applications where a fast mould-turnover is required, e.g. for the cold press molding, polymer concrete or resin transfer molding. |
