Cetylsil S is a complex of a fatty quaternary compound, and a carboxy silicone.
The complex provides improved water solubility, reduced irritation, and improved feel on hair and skin.
The complexation of Cetyl Triethyl Ammonium chloride with a Carboxy silicone results in a significant reduction of irritation.
This allows the compound to be used in skin care to reduce tackiness, increase softness, and moisturization.
This is created by the substantivity of the silicone on the skin that gives improved spreadability and cushion.
