Silicone Gel
SEMICOSIL 925 Silicone Gel is a high purity, onecomponent compound. It is intended primarily for use in passivation and environmental protection of electronic components.

The surface that SEMICOSIL 925 is to be cured against should be clean, dry and free of dirt, with no residue remaining. After potting, SEMICOSIL 925 should be deaerated under a vacuum of 28 inch Hg to eliminate any air trapped under components or devices. Curing is accomplished by heating SEMICOSIL 925 to at least 120'C (248'F). The time required for full cure will depend on the heat sink properties of the component being potted. |
