Vestolit P 1345 K 80 |
|
Polyvinyl chloride for paste processing. Vestolit P 1345 K 80 is a paste-forming homopolymer which is suitable for producing low viscosity pastes with slightly pseudoplastic flow and good storage stability. The product may be used for foamed and compact applications. In the production and processing of pastes, Vestolit P 1345 K 80 has excellent air release characteristics. In Top coat applications, it produces mat surfaces while maintaining good transparency both alone and in blends. The flow behaviour and mechanical properties e.g. indentation behaviour and strength, which are obtained from the high K-value, and the relatively good foamability(despite the high K-value) result in a high degree of suitability for lid seal applications. Seals made of Vestolit P 1345 K 80 therefore are less adversely affected by thermomechanical loads(e.g. in sterilization) than PVC having a lower K-value. |
