Uvacure 1561 |
|
Hybrid Resin Systems Low viscosity epoxide resins undergo rapid cationic polymerization when exposed to UV light in the presence of a photoinitiator that generates a cationic catalyst. Uvacure 1561 oligomer is a partially acrylated bisphenol-A epoxy resin. It contains both acrylate and epoxy functionality and both functional groups can be UV cured by using either an appropriate cationic photoinitiator, or a hybrid free radical/ cationic photoinitiator system. This ability to react via both UV curing mechanisms makes Uvacure 1561 a useful coreactant between many free radical and cationic curable materials. |
