Cycloaliphatic Epoxide Resins
Low viscosity epoxide resins undergo rapid cationic polymerization when exposed to UV light in the presence of a photoinitiator that generates a cationic catalyst. Uvacure 1500 is a low viscosity, high purity, cycloaliphatic epoxide which is the base resin for most cationic curing formulations. Cationic UV cure formulations containing Uvacure 1500 are generally tough, solvent resistant, and exhibit good adhesion to a variety of substrates, including metals and plastics. |
