This resin series involves the reaction of various modified tall oil fractions with hydrocarbons.
We call them hybrid resins, or hydrocarbon-modified rosin esters.
Resinall was one of the first producers to commercially develop this class of resin.
These products are now among the resins of choice for most lithographic ink vehicles.
They have displaced many traditional rosin-based products by offering a superior balance of properties at lower cost.
