| Melting ice on road surfaces. May also be used in conjunction with abrasive substances (such as sand) to produce an ice melter without losing traction. Used as a general snow and ice melter. The corrosion inhibitor is designed to protect steel surfaces by deposition of a protective coating. Use of the product in an application where this coating would be removed, exposing unprotected steel, should be avoided. |
