LWT is a one package zinc phosphating process for steel as a pretreatment prior to painting The CrysCoat LWT process does not require an additional accelerator since the accelerator is incorporated into the product CrysCoat LWT can also be used for preparing minor amounts of zinc-coated steel and aluminum for painting.
CrysCoat LWT is applied by spray.
The Cryscoat LWT process develops a fine-grained zinc phosphate coating on stee which can provide an excellent base for paint adhesion and improved corrosion resistance.
Coating weights of about 150-350 mg/ft 2 (1.5-3.5 g/m 2) can be obtained with Cryscoat LWT by spray. |
