Water-borne Polyurethane Hyrex for Synthetic Leather Waterborne Polyurethane Hyrex is for providing warm comfortable touch of the Synthetic Leather like genuine ones. - Water borne Polyurethane is thoroughly stirred in about 10 minutes and the mixture form an uniform high viscosity by adding dropwise small drops of VS thickener (see attached) and toner. - Once the viscosity is reached to the required level, the uniform high viscosity Polyurethane is allowed to stand overnight for the purpose of the vapor removal. - The high viscosity Polyurethane can either be applied as an adhesive coats or as a heat reactive top coats using a transfer coating process by means of releasing paper and knife coater : * 1st step for skin coating is heat treated for about 2 minutes at 120'C to 150'C, * 2nd step for adhesive coating is heat treated for about 3 minutes at 70'C to 110'C. (Caution: Moisture should be dried perfectedly for prevention of lowering bonding strength) - Press continuously textile or non-woven fabrics with 2-3 head speed on coated R.P using 160¡É heating roller with 7§¸/§² pressure. - Compressed products shall be aged under 80'C for 3 days in curing chamber. - Finally remove R.P. |
