Oakite Draw Clean G imparts a strong lubricating film that clings tightly to work surfaces-even under extreme pressure-so that metal-to-metal contact is avoided.
As a result, the non-pigmented, oil-base lubricant provides the high load-carrying capacity needed for heavy-duty, deep-drawing operations without gouging or tearing.
Does not build up on dies.
Draw Clean G can be used in machine shops for such metalworking operations as deep drawing, forming, stamping, punching, blanking, swaging and tube drawing.
Metals that can be effectively worked with the lubricant include steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper.
Applied full strength by conventional methods, just a thin film of economical-to-use Draw Clean G is all that's needed.
On steel work surfaces, Draw Clean G leaves a rust-inhibiting film that provides temporary protection against corrosion.
It may be removed with a moderately alkaline cleaner.
