Oakite 80 is a liquid compound specially formulated to reduce the growth of microbiological organisms which produce obnoxious odors and rancidity in various industrial lubricants.
By controlling the odor and rancidity, the highly active bacteriostat extends the working life of metalworking and solutions.
With less need to dump contaminated solutions, material savings are effected.
With odors eliminated, working conditions are improved.
The additive is primarily designed for use with emulsifiable or soluble cutting oils such as Oakite Formula 59 and Controlant 6059-SO.
Oakite 80 is compatible with all commonly used coolant/lubricant ingredients.
At recommended use levels, it has no harmful effect on the properties of industrial lubricants and is applicable on all metals commonly found in metalworking operations.
Effective against a broad spectrum of bacterial microorganisms, Oakite 80 performs effectively in economically dilute concentrations, remains stable in highly dilute solutions. |
