Oakite FM 286 is a liquid barrel burnishing compound for use on a wide range of metals.
Acidic in nature, it is effective for burnishing zinc, aluminum, brass, copper, steel and the "400" series stainless steels.
Where electroplating will follow barrel burnishing, Oakite FM 286 often eliminates the need for a separate bright dip between operations.
Oakite FM 286 also finds application for barrel deburring of zinc die castings. |
