| Oakite 264 |

Oakite 264 is a liquid conversion coating and prepaint treatment for aluminum.
Applied by spray or immersion it is particularly effective as a protective surface pretreatment for aluminum food can stock.
Oakite 264 is equally effective for improving the adhesion of organic coatings and paint on wrought, extruded or aluminum.
Coating weights of 10 to 50 mg/ft 2 and above are readily achievable with those in the lower range(for food can stock) being iridescent those in the prepaint range being iridescent to light green and those used for aesthetic purposes being a rich architectural green.
Where necessary, or desirable, Oakite 265 may be used to augment the fluoride content of Oakite 264 solutions.
