Oakite Gardoclean A 5503, a cleaner/rust inhibitor, is ideal for in-process cleaning of cast iron and other ferrous metals.
It effectively removes soils such as metal working fluids, oils, metal chips and fines while providing temporary rust protection.
Gardoclean A 5503 can be used in spray washers and it is well suited for single stage applications where rinsing is not available and/or rust inhibition is required.
It also works very well in ultrasonic and vibratory applications.
Being free of such questionable components as silicates, chelates, and nitrites, perfectly positions Gardoclean A 5503 for use in operations that require a product that is free rinsing and produces no spots on finished parts.
Gardoclean A 5503 is ideal for use in areas of the country where disposal can be a problem due to its low pH and environmentally conscious make-up.
Gardoclean A 5503¡¯s unique chemical composition is excellent at splitting the removed oils allowing removal through the use of a skimmer or coalescer.
It also eliminates the smoke and soot created when emulsified oils left by other cleaners are heated.
Following heat treatment, Gardoclean A 5503 can remove quench oils and provide temporary indoor rust protection, thereby producing excellent results in both operations with a single product.
The inhibitor package in Gardoclean A 5503 is easily removed by immersion in hot water, if desired. |
