TEDA crystalline catalyst is a high purity crystalline catalyst for polyurethane foam applications. It consists of 99.95 wt. % (minimum) triethylene-diamine on a ater-free, amines base.
TEDA crystalline catalyst is used in all types of urethane foams including flexible slab, flexible molded, rigid, semi-flexible, and elastomeric. It is also used in urethane coatings applications. TEDA crystalline catalyst accelerates the reactions between isocyanate and water and between isocyanate and organic hydroxyl groups. In flexible slab foam systems, TEDA crystalline catalyst can be used with a stannous octoate catalyst, such as D-19 catalyst. In flexible molded systems, TEDA crystalline catalyst can be used with a blowing co-catalyst such as A-1(=ZF-22) catalyst. In rigid systems, TEDA crystalline catalyst is frequently used with DMEA (dimethylethanolamine) catalyst. |
