Silicone Surfactant
The storage stability of B-8404 is at least 12 months, provided it is kept in originally sealed drums and protected against extreme weather conditions, particularly against heat and water. Cold is not a general problem because B-8404 has a solidification point below -12'C. Nevertheless it is recommendable to bring it up to ambient temperature before the material is used.
B-8404 has been designed to be soluble and stable in common rigid foam polyols and resin preblends, which may additionally contain fluorocarbon blowing agents, amine and tin catalysts as well as reactive or non-reactive flame retardants. |
