Sabre WL is an water-based vehicle formulated for lapping and polishing of a wide range of substrates in both traditional metal lapping industries, as well as the silicon wafer, quartz crystal, optics and ceramics industries.
Sabre WL can be compounded with any abrasive grain, including aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, and diamond.
Sabre WL is very easy to clean, unless it is allowed to dry, usually with hot water and mild detergent.
Due to its unique suspension, dispersion and wetting properties, Sabre WL has allowed users to significantly reduce processing time through increased stock removal rates.
Reduced processing time equates to cost savings in both material and manufacturing overhead.
Sabre WL compounds have also shown improved surface finish in most applications, when compared to existing technology.
Sabre WL products can be supplied as a dilutable concentrate, ready-to-use slurry, or as the vehicle alone for those operations where mixing grit at the application site is desired. |
