Sabre CLV is a water-based vehicle specifically formulated for lapping and polishing of silicon wafers, quartz crystal, optics and ceramics.
Sabre CLV can be compounded with any abrasive grain, including aluminum oxide, silicon carbide, diamond, and cerium oxide.
Sabre CLV inhibits corrosion, is non-foaming, and is easily cleaned.
Because of its unique suspension, dispersion and wetting properties, Sabre CLV has allowed users to significantly reduce processing time through increased stock removal rates.
Reduced process time equates to cost savings in both material and manufacturing overhead.
Sabre CLV compounds have also shown improved surface finish in most applications, when compared to existing technology.
Sabre CLV products can be supplied as a dilutable concentrate, a ready-to-use slurry, or as the vehicle alone for those operations where mixing grit at the application site is desired. |
