UNI-TEXis a permanently flexible, high-build acrylic texture coating system which provides long-term waterproofing and impact resistance. It is unique in its high elongation characteristics, which allows for application to a wide range of substrates. UNI-TEX is a ¡°systems product¡± incorporating, as required, insulation board, basecoat, fabric, a 100% acrylic finish coat and other products further described in separate ¡°Master Guide Specifications¡± literature. UNI-TEX is applied only by Certified Applicator. The attractive, stucco-look finish forms a weatherproof barrier against the effects of wind-driven rain, intense UV, abrasion and other weather extremes. This durable, color stable wall system can be applied by spray or trowel to achieve a wide variety of finish textures. All UNI-TEXcomponents utilize waterbased, 100% acrylic resins for permanent flexibility and color stability. It conforms to all federal, state and local air pollution standards, VOC requirements and building codes. UNITEXis listed by ICBO under Report #5120.
UNI-TEX provides a tough, weatherproof, aesthetically pleasing stucco-look finish over various types of insulation board, masonry, brick, concrete, stucco and approved exterior wallboard surfaces. New construction utilizing any of the above substrates will be more economical and durable with a flexible UNI-TEX finish. Existing substrates can be totally retrofitted to achieve a dramatic new look with the UNI-TEX System. It is equally effective on commercial or residential installations. |
