Clkear gloss, water-repellent sealer
MONOCRYL 100 is a pure acrylic water-repellent penetrating sealer. It is formulated with nonyellowing Methyl Methacrylate-Ethyl Acrylate copolymer resins to produce long term waterrepellency and weather protection. MONOCRYL 100 is an excellent damp-proofing material with a high gloss sheen which imparts a "wet look" finish to the substrate. It yields a durable film which is suitable for graffiti resistance on various surfaces.
MONOCRYL 100 was specifically developed as a sealer-finish for exposed aggregate, stone, concrete, brick and masonry surfaces where a "wet look" effect is desired. MONOCRYL 100 has the durability required for use on exposed aggregate walkways as well as vertical substrates. It will impart a high gloss sheen to the surface, while retaining the initial transparency and non-yellowing characteristics throughout exterior aging and exposure MONOCRYL 100 is not designed to waterproof porous substrates under wind driven rain or other severe conditions. It is not a bridging type coating for use as a waterproof membrane. It will however, substantially increase the water-repellency of the substrate due to the hydrophobic resins incorporated within the finish. |
