VE 4230 is an aliphatic urethane divinyl ether. As a white solid, it is useful for powder coating applications, and its low melt viscosity is useful for fast wet-out. It can be used to enhance flexibility and improve weatherability of the cured powder coating. Under carbocationic conditions it reacts with other vinyl ethers. Due to its nucleophilic nature VE 4230 is, however, better suited to cure with free-radical initiated co-polymerization reactions with acrylates, etc. The low melt viscosity VE 4230 monomer can be incorporated in acrylate/epoxy and/or vinyl ether/epoxy coating systems. * Application Benefits: -Increases Flexibility -Low Melting -Fast Cure Speed -Low Coloration |
