WELLGUARD 1898 corrosion inhibitor component is comprised of amido-imidazolines and amides.

WELLGUARD 1898 corrosion inhibitor component is an active base component used for formulating corrosion inhibitors. It forms a tenacious film on metal surfaces thereby imparting corrosion protection. It tends to have less emulsifying tendencies than similar corrosion inhibiting substances. WELLGUARD 1898 corrosion inhibitor component is typically blended with other additives to give high performance formulations. It is designed for use with hydrocarbon-based solvents to give oil-soluble corrosion inhibitors. It is also designed to form salts with mineral and organic acids to give corrosion inhibitors with varying degrees of dispersibility/solubility in water. |
