MODIFIED URETHANE MEMBRANE COATING.
GEOTHANE 5020FR is a fire retardant version of GEOTHANE 5020. It is a 100% solids, fast curing, modified urethane elastomer with physical properties similar to GEOTHANE 520FR. The major difference between the two materials is the instant cure properties of GEOTHANE 5020FR which allows increased field productivity and application at lower temperatures. GEOTHANE 5020FR requires plural component spray equipment.
Designed to provide maximum protection when required by industrial or governmental regulations for fire retardant secondary containment linings around storage tanks, GEOTHANE 5020FR can be used on concrete, steel, and metal, or with geotextile over an earthen basin. It may be used as a high build, elastomeric lining system for tanks, reservoirs, dikes, trenches, and sumps. Furthermore, this seamless lining has good UV resistance for long-term weathering in an exterior environment and can be used as repair material for existing pond liners.
