Wellguard 1848 |
|
WELLGUARD 1848 corrosion inhibitor is comprised of bisulfite, fatty amines and quaternary ammonium chlorides. * Applications: WELLGUARD 1848 corrosion inhibitor is a water-soluble corrosion inhibitor/oxygen scavenger blend for use in hydrostatic testing fluids, packer fluids and completion fluids. For brine systems, its solubility should be evaluated prior to use. WELLGUARD 1848 corrosion inhibitor affords protection against corrosion, oxygen, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, organic acids and inorganic acids. WELLGUARD 1848 corrosion inhibitor is generally recommended for use at 1000 - 5000 ppm levels, depending on the requirements of the application. For oxygen, a dosage of 150 ppm will scavenge approximately 1 ppm oxygen. WELLGUARD 1848 corrosion inhibitor is not recommended for use with zinc bromide brines. |
